Istanbul is one of the coolest places you can do tourism. No wonder it’s the 8th most visited city in the world, according to Mastercard, with 13.4 million tourists per year.
When you come to Istanbul, make sure to enjoy the amazing culture, historic sites, and picturesque scenery, but don’t forget to drink some coffee – and I want to help you with that! I’m going to show you the best districts in town to visit for coffee shops. In due time, you’ll also find reviews of each coffee shop here.
Karaköy
Between the Galata Tower and the Bosphorus, this is a very old neighboorhood of Istanbul. Despite it’s age, it’s a very hip location for bars, cafés and everything nightlife. Try some famous Baklava and enjoy the view on the waterfront. Of course, you can find cool third wave coffee shops over there too!
How to get there
It’s one of Istanbul’s easiest place to get to, from almost anywhere, specially easy from the Sultanahmed square. There’s a ferry station in Karaköy, a Tramway station and many bus stops. The cafés area is just a few steps away from the main streets.
