Istanbul Coffee Guide – Kadıköy
Istanbul Coffee Shop Guide, Turkey Coffee Shop Guide, World Coffee Shop Guide Sep 26, 2019

Istanbul is one of the coolest places you can do tourism. No wonder it’s the 8th most visited city in the world, according to Mastercard, with 13.4 million tourists per year.
When you come to Istanbul, make sure to enjoy the amazing culture, historic sites, and picturesque scenery, but don’t forget to drink some coffee – and I want to help you with that! I’m going to show you the best districts in town to visit for coffee shops. In due time, you’ll also find reviews of each coffee shop here.
Kadıköy
This is one of the most popular areas on the Asian side. Kadıköy is an interesting mix of a classic style neighborhood with a modern and young vibe. It’s the place of the city where most university students rush to on the weekends to find a pub, party, or coffee shop.
It’s Istanbul’s most active area for third-wave coffee roasters, so you can find some of the best around here. It would be very long to list all of them here, but I’ll mention a few to help you get an idea. Go there and try any of their drinks, they’re all good.
How to get there
Kadıköy is easily accessible from anywhere in Istanbul. If you are on the European side, ferries leave from Eminönü (closer to the Sültanahmed area), Karaköy (Galata Tower), Kabataş (closer to Taksim) and Beşiktaş. You can also take the Marmaray to the station Söğütlüçeşme, or the Metrobüs to the same station.
The district is divided into many neighborhoods. The most popular one for modern coffee shops is Moda. Just follow the signs, you’ll find it!
